The Joy of Easter In Pictures

This Easter season, I thought I might get some pictures of myself and my sweet babies taken. Jennifer Hayslip of Pink Ellie Photography is a dear friend of mine and we shot together once before- but her pictures of children are just darling. So of course it made sense to partner up with her for these photos.

 

 

Easter, for me, is not just the celebration of Christ giving his life for us- but also the celebration of a new life with the coming of Spring. Call it a second New Year’s of sorts. We emerge out of the winter in to the newness and warmth of the sun.

 

What better to represent that than with the innocence of children?

 

And then there’s also the very Southern tradition of new outfits especially for Easter Sunday, too.
