Tasty Tuesday: the Tomato Sandwich & Grilled Peaches

No, these two items were not served together.

 

But they were ORDERED together.

 

Let’s back track.

 

I can never go to Grow without ordering more than I can eat at once. Just not possible. When I was working evenings in t.v. I would sometimes do this on purpose so I could eat a nice meal at my desk.

 

Now I just end up with dinner leftovers to eat at home.

 

I meant to go and order just one, light item this time. But I just couldn’t do it. All the goodness called to me.

 

I wanted the traditional Southern tomato sandwich, served with mayonnaise and basil. Yum. And it was yummy. But I didn’t account for also being allowed a side dish when I choose to get the Grilled Peach Salad. (Note: in this photo it’s just, maybe, 1/4th of the whole serving I was given.)

 

 

So there I went, over ordering again. Tomato sandwich with squash casserole PLUS a full grilled peach salad.

 

It was all amazing.

 

And again for dinner at home that night.
