A Southern Classic Opens in Atlanta

Ok so… this particular item wasn’t invented in the South- but it was purchased by a Southern family. And company headquarters were moved to Florida. But from MY perspective, Tervis Tumblers are a key part of any tailgate. Or any gathering, really.

Tervis Tumblers were actually invented in Detroit- the same year the microwave was invented. Then they were moved down to sunny Florida and have become synonymous with sunny Southern weather and outrageous tailgates.

And now they are celebrating their 47th store opening in Atlanta!

During the October 1st Grand Opening, the first 100 customers will receive a free tumbler beginning at 10am, and all customers will receive 15% off all day!

“We love the eclectic mix of entertainment venues, shops and residences around Atlantic Station,” said Chad Blankenship, Tervis Head of Stores. “With all that Tervis has to offer, we fit right in! We can’t wait to become an active part of this vibrant community.”

“The 1662 sq. ft. space will be filled with a wide assortment of designs from favorite brands like Coca-Cola®, Disney, Simply Southern® and Realtree®, just to name a few. There will also be plenty of sports and colleges to cheer for including the Atlanta Braves™, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, University of Georgia, Georgia-Tech, Georgia Southern and more,” they said in a release.

From sippy cups, tumblers, water bottles, shot glasses and wine glasses there is something for everyone. Tervis’ insulated products keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot,  reduce condensation, are dishwasher safe, BPA free and unbreakable.
