Make It Work Molly’s Southern Style

What is “Southern Style”? I like to ask all kinds of people this. From boutique owners to designers to people on the streets- we Southerners have our own unique style. We piece together outfits from established high end designers from New York, LA and Europe along with designers up and coming from the South and mix them in with our grandmother’s pearls or a monogrammed necklace. We wear our hearts in our clothing and our spirited passion in our very steps. Southerners are not afraid to mix cowboy boots with a cocktail dress and yet we can pull em off without looking like rednecks.

Me personally, my Southern style changes all the time. I like to mix in horse hair boots with a sundress. Or a pearl necklace layered with a cross and a pendant depicting the the plane my grandfather flew in WWII- paired with a ballgown. Here are some examples of my own style:
