Macon Mixer: Socializing, Relaxing, and Taking In the Arts
As if we didn’t have enough on our plates, the SoChi Gallery is bringing the weekend to Tuesday nights- but in only the most fabulous way.
We would never expect anything less of a Terrell Sandefur event, even if he is becoming Macon’s most fabulous bi-coastal resident, and he has teamed up with Profound Works Publicity to present these weekly mixers for the community.
“The SoChi Cocktail Mixer is an event series, showcasing art and music, that was created to promote socializing among professional people after work in downtown Macon,” says gallery owner, Terrell Sandefur. “We are giving it a trial run every Tuesday in the month of September. If it works, I’d like to continue it beyond September.”

The upscale venue, open since 2008, is currently hosting cocktail mixers for the community every Tuesday, starting this month. The mixer begins at 5pm and offers attendees an exciting opportunity to mix and mingle over drinks, food, art and music.
The gallery is showcasing art by Priscilla Esser along with another up-and-coming artist from Middle Georgia, Ryan O’Neal. Every Tuesday, entertainment is offered up in the form of DJ’s, dancers, musicians and other local talent.
Well, I know where I will be tonight! Especially since I missed the last one, and I don’t want to miss Priscilla’s artwork in person- since I get sneak peeks via social media.
