Don’t Mess With The “G”: Georgia Bulldogs Helmet

So of course, I go to her link to find an AJC article on someone creating new college football helmets:

Ok so, I get being a graphic designer is hard, and I totally respect the work they do. However…. dude for real? Don’t mess with the G.

 

It appears to me that Georgia’s helmet is the only one he totally butchered, in my opinion. I mean it looks like the Dawg is swallowing the head of the player. If I was a lineman I think I would fall down laughing at that hot mess.

 

On second thought, perhaps it’s not a bad idea after all….

 

I was super concerned at first by the tone of the AJC article, thinking this might be for real. But then I went to the company’s Instagram account, and then their website:

In all fairness, there are some really cool looking helmets on here, and I totally appreciate what owner Dylan Young is doing for the sake of his art.

 

Also you have to admit, this is a pretty damn smart way to get his name out their for his graphic design work.

 

But next time- just don’t mess with the G- ok?
